CARIES TREATMENT IN CHILDREN

INITIAL SITUATION
A 6-year-old child comes in for evaluation with an interproximal carious lesion on the upper right second primary molar, complaining of pain after meals.
The radiographic examination reveals that the carious lesion is extensive, reaching toward the dental pulp.

OBJECTIVE
Remove the carious lesion to restore a functional anatomical structure, allowing the young patient to chew without pain.

TREATMENT
The procedure involves restoring the tooth using aesthetic, biocompatible composite materials, which ensure durability, functionality, and a natural appearance.
